ST ANDREW'S CHURCH CORBRIDGE with HALTON and NEWTON HALL
Take 5
‘Take 5’ is about the church’s engagement in the Five Marks of Mission, and the Take 5 committee maintains our links to a range of people and projects.
The committee also makes recommendations to the PCC each year about how to share out the major part of St Andrews’ charitable giving: 10% of our ‘planned giving’ income is given away each year in grants.
On this page below are a selection of links to information about the projects and people we support.
On the Take 5 Background Section below [click here] are various documents underlying the work of the Take 5 committee.

Andrew and Lisa, and their daughters Liliana and Anayah, visited St Andrew’s at the start of September and spoke at both the 10am service and at River. One of their themes was the CMS call to follow Jesus by connecting with people at the edges – the edges of church, the edges of society, the edges of our comfort zones. We were each offered a jigsaw piece to remind us how important it can be to ‘start at the edges’!

We make an annual donation to CMS for the financial support of Andrew and Lisa. At the moment CMS does not receive enough to fully cover these costs, and individuals can make their own donations directly to CMS (several at St Andrew’s already do this). If you’d like to make a regular gift, however small: You can set up a Direct Debit (or make a one-off gift) on the CMS website: [click here] * Or [click here] to download a Direct Debit form you can print, fill in, and post to CMS.
