The Archbishops of Canterbury and York with other Church Leaders have designated Mothering Sunday as a day of prayer and action. They are inviting us

    • at 8am to join in a service led by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, to be broadcast on BBC Radio Newcastle and streamed at 9am on www.facebook.com/thechurchofengland
    • Bishop Christine will be speaking on BBC Radio Newcastle at 8.45am on Sunday
    • at 7pm to place (safely) a lighted candle in our window as a sign of solidarity and hope in the light of Christ which can never be extinguished
    • to pray for those who are sick and anxious and for all involved in our Health Service.
